Every once in a while, a dog comes along who leaves pawprints on all our hearts. Daquinn was one of those special souls. With his big, gentle eyes and quiet, loving nature, he won over everyone who met him here at Morgan County Humane Society.
After patiently waiting for his forever family, Daquinn’s big day finally came! He has found a loving home where he will never have to wonder about safety, comfort, or companionship again. His new family has already shared updates — he loves his daily walks, naps in the sunshine, and being spoiled with all the love he deserves.
Daquinn's - now Tank - adoption reminds us why we do what we do: every animal deserves a second chance, and every success story inspires us to keep going.

The “No-Name” Cat Finds a Home
Sometimes the ones who slip in quietly make the biggest impact. A sweet little cat came to us without a name — just a gentle spirit, curious eyes, and a longing for love. While we called her “No-Name” around the shelter, her personality spoke volumes.
After a short stay with us, her forever family found her. They didn’t see a nameless cat — they saw a best friend waiting to be discovered. Now, she has a home, a family, and most importantly, a name chosen with love just for her.
It’s stories like this that remind us: every animal matters, no matter how they arrive. And every adoption is more than a goodbye — it’s a new beginning.
